Where is Marea located, and how do I get there?
Marea is located at Via Marina di Cassano 7 in Piano di Sorrento, directly on the waterfront within Marina di Cassano harbour. The venue is easy to reach, and parking next to the property can be arranged on request.
What events and experiences can be organised at Marea?
Marea hosts birthdays, christenings, First Communions, anniversaries, weddings, micro-weddings, pre-wedding events, meetings and corporate events. We also offer cooking classes, catering and banqueting, event styling, audio-visual and technical production, aperitivo experiences and services dedicated to the harbour.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Marea offers approximately 400 square metres of space across two indoor rooms and an outdoor terrace. Capacity varies depending on the type of event, the layout and the chosen set-up. For micro-weddings, the ideal configuration is between 40 and 60 guests.
Does Marea offer a complete service for events and weddings?
Yes. Marea can oversee every aspect of an event, from cuisine and styling to sound, lighting, video, scenic design and specialist suppliers. Every proposal is tailored to the people and occasion, with one dedicated point of contact from the initial planning stages through to the event itself.
Does Marea welcome international couples and guests?
Yes. Our team welcomes international couples, groups and guests and can assist them in English, French and German. Dedicated services include weddings, pre-wedding events, cooking classes and private experiences across the Sorrento Peninsula.
Can Marea provide catering and event styling at other venues?
Yes. Marea provides catering, banqueting, event styling and technical production at private villas, corporate venues, boats, yachts and other locations. We primarily work across the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, while events further afield can also be arranged with suitable planning.
Is the venue accessible to guests with reduced mobility?
Yes. An accessible ramp connects the parking area to the secondary entrance, and vehicles can drive up to a point close to the door.
